Beau Rapp, PT, DPT
Beau grew up in Hooker, and is a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Beau graduated with his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in 2007 before practicing at Central States Orthopedic Specialists, Inc. in Tulsa, OK. In 2012, Beau earned his doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Montana. Beau served as the rehab director at Elder Care in Bartlesville, OK for six years before he and his wife relocated to their hometown of Hooker, OK. Beau opened Physical Therapy on the Move in downtown Hooker in the fall of 2014, and is excited about making positive differences in the lives of the people who reside in the Oklahoma panhandle and southwest Kansas. Beau separates himself from the competition with his expert manual therapy skills, honesty, integrity, and professionalism. He treats his patients with the compassion as he would his family. Beau loves his career and brings a positive attitude to the clinic every day. He is a 15-year member of the American Physical Therapy Association as well as the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association. Beau enjoys being active in the community by supporting local organizations, helping to sponsor local events, and participating in seasonal activities.
Melissa Schmidt, PTA
Melissa is our physical therapist assistant. She grew up in Oakley, KS and graduated from the Colby Community College Physical Therapist Assistant program in August 2013. Melissa enjoys helping people of all ages, especially pediatric patients. She encourages her patients with constructive feedback and an upbeat attitude. We are lucky to have Melissa!
Megan Simpson, Office Manager
Megan, also from Hooker, serves as the clinic manager bringing her experience from many years of insurance billing, practice management and medical financial counseling.
Yazmin Medina, Director of First Impressions
Yazmin, also from Hooker, serves as our Director of First Impressions. She graduated from the Neosho County Community College Healthcare Coding Program in May 2018. She has both experience in customer service and Medical Records. Yazmin also enjoys helping others in any way she can.
